Nomadology

by Kurt Olsson

Borders are imposed, then patrolled.
The nomad understands the tyranny of numbers.
Every open door proves a voyage, intended or not.
One grows weary of the larceny of shadows.
There are no lepers in the city of lepers,
no poisoners in the city of poisoners.
